Laticia’s Saldanha Pilchards Lunch
  • 1 x 400g can Saldanha Pilchards in Tomato Sauce OR Hot Chilli Sauce
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp chutney
  • ½ cup mushrooms, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh rolls or toasted bread
  1. Drain and flake the pilchards, placing them in a bowl.
  2. Using a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, chutney, mushrooms, salt and pepper and microwave for 2 – 3 minutes.
  3. Add the pilchards to the mixture, spreading on toast or fresh rolls.

Takes about 10 minutes.
