Sardines & Spinach

Ingredients

  • 1 x 215g can Saldanha Sardines
  • 100g fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 chillies, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Packet black pepper OR mushroom sauce – optional

Method

  1. Drain the sardines.
  2. Fry onion and chillies until soft.
  3. Add spinach and toss for 3 minutes in pan.
  4. Remove from stove and arrange sardines on top.
  5. If using the sauce, prepare the sauce and pour over the mixture.
